Kuiwen district in Weifang, Shandong province has launched a friendly action plan to support new employment groups. The district has introduced eight major service projects aimed at enhancing the experience of couriers and delivery riders and promoting more harmonious community governance.

The district is offering services such as labor dispute mediation, labor rights protection, and legal policy consultation. Additionally, Kuiwen district has set up a long-term communication mechanism among communities, property management, and riders, ensuring a smooth green channel for couriers and riders to deliver within residential areas. The district has also introduced a skill-enhancement project for new employment groups, providing comprehensive skills training and employment guidance. A special hospital has been established, featuring a dedicated service for couriers and riders.

At the same time, to fully leverage the role of couriers and delivery riders in grassroots governance, Kuiwen district encourages new employment groups to use their industry advantage of traversing streets and alleys to identify problems and report, further eliminating blind spots in grassroots governance.

To address the urgent and pressing issues faced by new employment groups, Kuiwen district aims to precisely align the integration of new employment group party-building work with community governance, collaboratively optimizing the working environment and rights protection for couriers and riders.
