Elevator industry advances in Ninjin
Ningjin county stands as the largest elevator production cluster in China's northern region and ranks among China's top three. The county boasts 206 elevator registered companies, whose products are sold to more than 50 countries and regions, like the Arab region, Central Asia, Russia, Australia, and South Korea.
The elevator industry, a cornerstone of Ningjin county, has undergone significant strides, transitioning from small-scale family workshops to large-scale enterprises. It has evolved from producing components to manufacturing complete elevators, shifted focus from mere assembly to fostering innovation, and expanded from domestic sales to global exports.
In recent years, the county has directed its attention towards the advancement of two major industries: hardware machinery and furniture manufacturing. The Ningjin elevator industry covers the entire chain, from complete manufacturing, parts production, installation, maintenance, vocational education, and inspection. Moreover, a provincial elevator quality inspection center has been established, and sales and maintenance outlets are set up in 162 cities, including Changsha and Xi'an, reaching all prefecture-level cities nationwide.
The county's brand strategy has culminated in the approval of the "Ningjin Elevator" trademark by the China National Intellectual Property Administration. Additionally, Ningjin founded the first school-enterprise cooperative elevator school in the country and and has been designated as a pilot unit for the Ministry of Education's "1+X" elevator maintenance vocational skill certificate assessment.
