Series activities enrich students' summer life

Recently, Chayekou town in the Laiwu district of Jinan, Shandong province, has leveraged its regional cultural and tourism resources, tapping into its rich natural and historical human resources to hold over 20 events, enriching students' summer vacation.
For example, at a station in Gaobaiyang village, Chayekou town, a university student, Gao Yihan, is working as a volunteer to introduce how to prevent drowning students in the village.
"We learned drowning prevention knowledge and watched the movie The Battle at Lake Changjin, which allowed us to participate in interesting activities, learning extracurricular knowledge and enriching our summer life," said a student Gao Haobo.

Additionally, various villages in Chayekou town have offered students a range of summer activities, including experiencing folk culture, intangible cultural heritage paper-cutting, and revolutionary history, making their summer vacation fulfilling and enjoyable.
"To enrich the summer life of young people, we planned a series of activities, including volunteer services, student classes, folk culture learning, and education on revolutionary, providing students with diverse summer activity options, allowing them to have an exciting summer right at their doorstep," said Zhao Luming, head of the publicity office of Chayekou town.
