Kuiwen district in Weifang, Shandong province has focused on new initiatives to optimize the working environment and protect the rights and interests of workers in new employment forms this year.

For example, the community station in Dongshangyu community, located in Guangwen subdistrict of Kuiwen, now provides convenient charging, drinking water, and reading and resting areas. Delivery riders can come to the station to quench their thirst, charge their devices, and take short breaks. The community also plans to add an aluminum alloy mobile service shelter, providing six types of services for free, such as drinking water, charging, and emergency medicine, to address the basic needs of riders and offer a more convenient resting space for this new employment group.

Additionally, on July 17, Kuiwen district held its first rider festival. During the event, professionals educated riders on their rights and traffic safety, guiding them to consciously follow traffic regulations and protect their legal rights in their work environment.

Kuiwen district is building a widespread, multi-level, and practical station matrix to enhance the sense of belonging, gain, and honor among riders. The goal is to provide a better experience for riders, achieve more harmonious community governance, and promote a new image of a friendly region for new employment groups through shared efforts.
