Langya Ancient City ignites summer passion
In summer, Langya Ancient City in Hedong district, Linyi city, is brightly lit and full of life. Major attractions such as the watermelon parade, electric music, water party, rap performances, and more offer tourists cool summer nights and vibrant experiences.
Visitors can stroll through the scenic spot to enjoy the scenery, taste delicious food, and watch traditional performances. Highlights include the whimsical watermelon bubble parade, lively summer market, and night market for cool drinks, providing endless summer fun.
By extending operating hours and adding more performances, the scenic spot offers an optimal touring experience, attracting over 20,000 daily visitors, 40 percent from outside the city.

Since its reopening on Feb 10, Langya Ancient City has welcomed over 980,000 visitors, 65 percent from outside Linyi city and 33 percent from outside the Shandong province. During this year’s May Day holiday, it received over 250,000 visitors, generating over 30 million yuan ($4.2 million) in ticket revenue, making it a shining icon of Hedong's cultural tourism.
