Beautiful village project brings joy to residents

As night falls in Guanjiazhuang village, Hedong district, Linyi city, joyful music, and children's laughter fill the cultural square. Every evening, villagers gather to dance, chat, jog, or take leisurely walks to relax after a busy day.

"The square has all kinds of entertainment. After meals, it's great for adults to bring their children here to have fun," said Wang Yongchen, a local villager. "We come here to dance whenever we have free time. It stretches our muscles and keeps us fit. It feels perfect," added Gao Zhenrong, a local villager.

This year, the local government upgraded 57 outdated streetlights to high-standard solar lights, making the village well-lit and safer at night. Fitness venues and equipment have also been enhanced, creating a vibrant fitness culture. "We've provided a great place for cultural and recreational activities, ensuring safety and enjoyment for residents," said Wang Zunqing, a local official of the village. (Edited by Lin Li)
