At an exhibition hall of the Shandong Zepu Medical Technology Co, a high-tech company in Gaomi, staff are testing the new AI1 lower limb feedback system. Exoskeleton robots, once seen only in movies, are now being developed and applied in Gaomi's medical field.

"We're boosting the R&D investment, expanding domestically, planning for international markets, and have set up several brand promotion centers abroad, "said Chai Lechun, deputy general manager of the company.

At Shandong Runyang Environmental Protection Equipment Company, a provincial-level new special expertise enterprise, workers are fulfilling water treatment equipment orders. The company has seen strong growth this year, with its thermoelectric water treatment systems selling well nationwide and an anticipated annual output value of 180 million yuan ($25.22 million).

Chen Xiangfeng, deputy general manager of Shandong Runyang, said: "Orders have been saturated this year, with Qingdao market alone completing orders worth 40 million yuan. We work overtime to produce accessories for clients from other provinces or regions such as Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region and Inner Mongolia autonomous region."

Gaomi is dedicated to economic growth and development, encouraging enterprises to boost production and order fulfillment to surpass annual targets and accelerate progress.
