Kuiwen district, located in Weifang city, Shandong province, has comprehensively enhanced its urban functions to meet the lifestyle aspirations of young talents, significantly boosting its appeal and capacity to attract them.

Kuiwen has constructed 500 high-standard talent apartments and five youth hostels in prime locations, making it the only district in the city recognized on the provincial list for significant achievements in talent housing. These talent apartments were introduced in July 2022, providing essential housing security for young professionals.

"Kuiwen offers an excellent platform for development and an innovative environment, giving me more opportunities to showcase my skills and talents," said a young resident.

With stable housing for talents, Kuiwen continues to optimize public services. The district has newly built or expanded six schools and 13 kindergartens, adding 8,800 new student slots, and achieved full coverage of after-school services and summer care for primary and secondary schools. Additionally, in the government service hall, Kuiwen has set up service windows for young talents, with 12 dedicated specialists in place to handle their administrative needs. Leveraging urban renewal opportunities, Kuiwen has established eight talent lounges, creating venues for youth social activities. The district has also innovatively selected numerous youth-friendly places, making life in Kuiwen more comfortable and enjoyable for young people. (Edited by Du Xiaping)
