Expats experience Qixi culture in county in Shandong

International students from Dezhou University were invited to visit Shangtang town of Qingyun county to take part in a series of experience activities titled "Wow, China is Amazing".

Twelve international students from countries such as Pakistan, Vietnam, and Uzbekistan immersed themselves in the activities related to Qixi Festival, which is also known as Chinese Valentine's Day.

They also fed koi carp, arranged flowers, made tuanshan, or round fans, tried their hands at making steamed bread, and discussed the local traditional cultural as well as cultural differences. Watch the video to learn more! (Edited by Yang Yi)
