Shahe town in Binzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone (Binzhou ETDZ), Shandong province, has explored a new way to improve governance among primary-level Party organizations, which has in turn improved people's wellbeing.

The town government has enhanced the efficiency of governance by sharing resources as well as facilitating discussion and coordination between all involved parties.

The local government has applied non-commercial property management to rural areas, aiming to improve the living environment and public services.

It has carried out over 200 visits, finding more than 3,000 places that still need to be rectified, which have been addressed through the efforts of village Party chiefs of along with welfare and sanitation workers.

Meanwhile, the town has completed its system of trash classification, allocating over 1,660 bins for all villagers. New stations for trash classification have been placed in the charge of corresponding individuals in order to raise people’s awareness of green issues and enhance their participation.

Dust brought about by stormy weather has made it difficult for residents to get around. Therefore, the town has arranged for regular cleanings, especially dusty areas around construction sites.

The government will continue to strengthen the efficiency of primary-level governance, solving people's problems by relying on primary-level Party organizations, ensuring residents' happiness and safety. (Edited by Xie Zhenzhen)
