The village introduced high-quality, high-gluten wheat varieties suitable for saline-alkali soil. Through specialized planting, the cooperative saves 180 yuan ($24.84) per hectare in costs, increases yields by 200 pounds, and boosts income by 680 yuan per hectare.
Collaborative development has further propelled growth. The village started an initiative with the cooperatives led by the Party branches of four other villages to create a rural vitalization cooperative.
In 2023, the village invested 1.4 million yuan to build a high-standard grain storage warehouse covering 4.3 hectares with a capacity of 5,000 tons. Using advanced green storage technology, it serves 600 surrounding households and 10,000 hectares of land, thereby increasing farmers' incomes. Additionally, the village leveraged its high-quality high-gluten wheat to open a flower bun workshop, creating over 20 jobs and continually opening new avenues toward increased incomes and prosperity.
