In Gaomi, key projects are progressing rapidly, showcasing robust development momentum. At the Xingyu Security Technology production site, the production workshop area has been fully established, with main construction nearing completion.
The project, with a total investment of 704 million yuan ($97.08 million), involves building 110,000 square meters of new factory space. Once fully operational, it is expected to create over 300 jobs, generate sales revenue of 650 million yuan and pay 260 million yuan in taxes annually.

"The project is advancing smoothly. The main structures of eight workshops are complete, and some are now undergoing equipment testing in preparation for the next phase of production," said Gao Huaxing, director of strategic planning at the company.
This year, Gaomi has prioritized the timely launch of all feasible projects. A total of 59 projects, including all key ones, have been launched, with a combined investment of 23.68 billion yuan.
Gaomi has also concentrated on accelerating timelines and meeting deadlines. From January to June, 32 key provincial and municipal projects completed 5.9 billion yuan in investment, reaching 60.7 percent of the annual target and exceeding the scheduled progress by 10.7 percentage points.
To achieve effective results, the city is supporting enterprises with project facilities, equipment procurement, order acquisition, and recruitment. This support aims to boost major projects and drive significant breakthroughs in high-quality development.
"We are actively planning and advancing projects in advanced manufacturing, infrastructure, and public services. So far this year, we have completed the approval, verification, and filing of 300 projects," said Lu Anqi, a local official.(Edited by Lin Li)
