Law popularization station for IP protection set up in Binzhou
The first intellectual property rights popularization station was recently set up in an industrial park in Shandong's Binzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone (Binzhou ETDZ), aiming to enhance public services for intellectual property (IP) protection and improve mechanisms for resolving related disputes.
The station provides information about IP protection laws, explaining the background and purpose of its establishment. At the opening ceremony, officials at the station addressed corporate queries about IP protection and legal disputes, thereby strengthening businesses' awareness of risk prevention and their ability to handle IP infringements.
The station aims to strengthen the protection of innovation in order to boost district development, providing legal support for enterprises in the park so that they can prevent the risk of torts. This initiative represents a creative exploration of how public services and the justice department can collaborate to promote legal awareness.
"With its official settlement, the station will become a significant platform to boost conciliation before and in litigation and address IP disputes in a timely manner," said a local.
"IP disputes are highly specialized cases that require advanced modes of conciliation and litigation. Extending legal popularization to the roots of disputes ensures that mechanisms can actively solve numerous cases," the person added.
The local government will evaluate the level of a company's IP protection and collect problems and demands through regular visits and research. This will help them provide tailored support and safeguards. The goal is to develop diverse mechanisms for addressing IP disputes and optimize the business environment through innovative public services, such as sharing best practices, operating law popularization stations, and broadcasting typical cases.
