China-US youth delegation visits Ningjin

A group of 36 youths from the United States participating in the 2024 International Youth Exchange Conference and China-US Youth Exchange Camp visited Ningjin county, Dezhou city, Shandong province on July 15. They toured the China Wood Carving Art Museum, the county’s culture and art center, the Husu community in Ningcheng sub-district, and a local health and fitness company.

The group had an immersive experience with traditional Chinese intangible cultural heritage, including paper-cutting, traditional opera, calligraphy, and painting, and interacted with cultural heritage inheritors on-site, experiencing the rich historical and cultural heritage of Ningjin and the charm of traditional Chinese culture. At the local health and fitness company, they tried various types of intelligent fitness equipment and witnessed Ningjin's vigorous high-quality development. (Edited by Lin Li)
