In recent years, the county-level city of Gaomi in Weifang, Shandong has adhered to a close combination of school operation and enterprise growth, with each empowering the other, which has in turn boosted the development of vocational education in the city.

The vocational education development group in Gaomi has collaborated with over 100 large companies in Shandong, such as Haier Group and Leju Robot, and established a practical center that integrates practical teaching, social training, real production, and technical services. This initiative has laid a solid foundation for high-quality student development and employment.

The group has cooperated with Claas Agricultural Machinery (Shandong) Co Ltd to jointly establish a dual-system training center. They have reached agreements on talent development goals, training programs, course arrangements, enrollment, and employment, aiming to create a comprehensive and systematic vocational education dual-system, promoting the deep integration of the engineering and technical education model and the German dual-system education concept.

Benefiting from the system, the first group of eight dual-system contracted students completed their first round of company practice and returned to school for theoretical studies in 2023. In May, they returned to Claas Agricultural Machinery (Shandong) Co Ltd for more practical training. This alternation of theory and practice has strengthened their overall competence. After the completion of their student training, they will be directly employed by the company.
