Virtue credit points spread positive energy
The summer charity classes in Donglai community, Hedong district, Linyi have now started. This year, 32 children from the community have enrolled. Unlike other charity classes, attendance here requires points, which residents earn by participating in community public welfare activities and volunteer services.

In Donglai community, every gesture of goodwill earns points, including cleaning up the environment, participating in community activities, or assisting neighbors in need. Points are recorded and updated in a mini-program for residents to monitor their accumulation, spending, and promotion status in real-time.
These points are called virtue credit points. They can be used for attending charity classes and shopping at a specific supermarket. Different levels of points earn community honors and cultural products.

These virtue credit points serve as a special "currency" in the community. Residents earn points through good deeds and exchange them for goods, which helps promote active participation in community service and governance. (Edited by Lin Li)
