Kazakhstan delegation explores collaborative opportunities in Dezhou

Recently, Nurzhan Nurzhigitov, minister of Water Resources and Irrigation of Kazakhstan, visited the Lingcheng district of Dezhou, East China's Shandong province. During his visit, he toured Hongxiang New Geo-Materials Co Ltd, a company known for its polymer composite materials widely used in China's South-to-North Water Diversion Project.
At Hongxiang New Geo-Materials, Nurzhigitov and his delegation received detailed briefings on the company's main business operations and flagship products. They also explored the company's exhibition hall, gaining valuable insights into Lingcheng's geotechnical materials industry.
Throughout his visit, Nurzhigitov highlighted the challenges confronting Kazakhstan due to rapid population growth and economic expansion, which have exacerbated disparities in water resource availability. He emphasized the Kazakhstani government's commitment to improving water resource management and advancing hydraulic engineering initiatives to effectively tackle these challenges.
Nurzhigitov's visit concluded with discussions on potential collaborations between Kazakhstan and Lingcheng in hydraulic engineering materials. Nurzhigitov expressed optimism about leveraging local expertise and resources to enhance Kazakhstan's capabilities in this critical sector, promoting mutually advantageous partnerships aimed at sustainable development.
