Town in Shandong leads in farming with land management breakthroughs
Damoujia town in Gaomi has been advancing agricultural productivity and enhancing socialized services by adopting an innovative "village + agricultural company/family farm + farmer-trusteeship" model. This approach has allowed the town to manage over 4,666.67 hectares of entrusted land, creating a mutually beneficial path that boosts grain production, enriches farmers, and increases collective revenue.
The strategy involves actively guiding strong, high-potential agricultural entities like family farms to expand their operational scale and improve their service capabilities. In tandem, Damoujia town has focused on strengthening training, publicity, and policy support. These measures have not only increased demand for large-field trusteeships but also expanded the service scale of new-type agricultural entities.

As a result, there has been substantial growth in the number of new-type agricultural business entities. Since the beginning of this year, 23 new family farms have been established, increasing the total count to 282. Damoujia town now leads the city in both the total number and the number of new additions of family farms.
