The ultra-high-strength bead wire independently developed by Shandong Daye Shares in Zhucheng, Weifang, reduces weight by 10 percent while increasing strength by around 25 percent in tire manufacturing for the same length.

This innovation reduces the rolling resistance of tires and fuel consumption of vehicles, leading to a decrease of approximately 30 percent in comprehensive carbon dioxide emissions. It aligns with the lightweight trend in the tire and automotive industries, conserving energy and reducing emissions.

Technological innovation can foster new industries, new models, and new dynamics, serving as a core element in developing new quality productive forces. To support business development, Zhucheng has implemented a tailored assistance program for each enterprise to stimulate innovation vitality.

The city has also carried out an innovation platform enhancement project, establishing 16 national-level innovation platforms, 125 provincial-level platforms, and a total of 427 platforms at the city level and above in Weifang.

Additionally, eight technology public service platforms have been established, providing innovation and entrepreneurship services for technology-based small and medium-sized enterprises.

A talent introduction and cultivation project has been implemented as well. Incentives for innovative breakthroughs have led to nine key core technology projects being included in the provincial project list. (Edited by Huang Junyao)
