The Wenhualu community of Guangwen subdistrict, located in the Kuiwen district of Weifang, Shandong province, prioritizes the holistic service needs of its residents and actively engages in cultural activities to strengthen their cultural confidence.

Embracing socialist core values and community agreements, the community has transformed the aging exterior walls of residential buildings into vibrant murals, giving the area a fresh and appealing aesthetic. Additionally, unused green spaces have been repurposed to enhance the community's ambiance, including the restoration of small pavilions and corridors.

In a pioneering move, Wenhualu community has established an art troupe comprising five groups, with an average age of nearly 70 and over 100 members. These performers infuse their performances with tales from their daily lives, evolving into a truly versatile artistic collective.

From youth community initiatives to vocational training for the middle-aged and young adults, and cultural engagements for the elderly, Wenhualu community offers a spectrum of venues, cultural events, and service provisions across all stages of life. This ongoing commitment elevates the cultural self-assurance of every community member, promoting a shift from individual participation to collaborative construction and mere sharing to genuine empathy. With an increasing number of residents actively participating in community governance, the community realizes a harmonious and well-managed vision. (Edited by Du Xiaping)
