Huang has planted chaotian peppers, a popular variety in the market that can also be processed as canned peppers.
To ensure the quality of his produce, Huang has used drip irrigation equipment, which has significantly contributed to his bumper harvest. This year, he expects to collect over 3,000 kilograms of fresh chili peppers per mu (1 mu=0.067 hectares).
Dingtao district has developed over 10,000 mu of pepper plants, creating a thriving industry that provides a significant income for local residents.
The sector has contributed to the district's rural vitalization and has become a prominent feature of the area's agricultural landscape. (Edited by Jin Yongxue)
