Seasoned craftsman Grandpa Amu, who hails from the county-level city of Linqing – administered by Liaocheng city, in East China's Shandong province – has become an unexpected celebrity on international social media platforms.
That's because of his incredible skills in mortise and tenon joints, a woodwork technique widely used in traditional Chinese architecture and furniture making.
Without any nails or glue, Grandpa Amu makes an exquisite toy, with a Ne Zha – a Chinese mythological figure – suspended on top. Let's check out this video to watch how he does it! (Edited by Chen Chuxuan)
