Development of young workforce flourishes in Shandong
The Lin'gang district of Weihai city – located in East China's Shandong province – is experiencing rapid economic and social development, having attracted lots of young people to settle there over the past few years.
The district has established several youth centers to cater to their living needs. These apartment blocks offer five days of free accommodation for young people attending interviews from other places and they provide long-term rentals as well.
They're fully furnished, making them suitable for immediate occupancy.

Besides apartments, the Lin'gang youth centers offer basketball courts, gyms and cinemas, among other things. According to government officials, themed salon events are held regularly to provide college students with social opportunities, to boost their leisure time and stimulate innovative thinking.
What's more, the district is forging ahead with a government-subsidized housing venture called the Lin'gang (Jinshaling) Youth Center Construction Plan. This project will have 1,330 rooms and various facilities to accommodate 4,654 young employees and it is expected to be completed by Aug 31.
Moving forwards, plans are for Lin'gang to pursue its development as a youth-friendly region, establishing more youth centers that foster a sense of identity, belonging and happiness among young individuals. (Edited by Zhou Yunlai)
