Over dozens of calligraphy works, paintings, and exquisite dough sculptures were displayed during the exhibition. The calligraphy pieces, presented by the Calligraphers Association and Artists Association of Luxi New District, included various styles such as cursive script, regular script, seal script, and clerical script.
The paintings featured traditional Chinese paintings, watercolor paintings, and meticulous Gongbi paintings, with the elegant peony as the central theme.
These art pieces were meticulously selected by the associations, and represent the district's high level artistic achievements. They also play a significant role in promoting cultural exchanges between China and the rest of the world.
During the event, Shi also showcased his dough sculptures, one of Heze's most representative and unique forms of folk art.
With more than 60 years of experience in the industry, Shi's sculptures are known for their exquisite craftsmanship and lively expressions.
The exhibited dough sculptures primarily depicted traditional Chinese figures, including historical figures, Peking Opera characters, and mythical figures. (Edited by Jin Yongxue)
