Thanks to the renovation of a previously inaccessible road by the local government, a professional cooperative in Guyizhuang village, which has a farmland that measures at 2,226 mu (148.4 hectares), managed to complete its planting process through mechanized operations this year.

Earlier this year, the Hedong district government conducted an assessment to identify roads that needed to be repaired. Nine roads were repaired before this year's wheat harvest.

Various rounds of investigations and site verifications were carried out by the district authorities to assess the status of rural roads and agricultural production routes, which also involved coordinating with local transportation and water management departments.

Hedong district is now working on repairing 87 roads that span 94 kilometers across the district's five towns and 70 villages.

Moving forward, the district will continue to optimize its urban and rural road networks, support industrial development, and contribute to the vitalization and prosperity of its rural areas. (Edited by Xue Xinyi)
