During the visit, 10 international students from Morocco, Burkina Faso, Guinea and other countries visited the Linshu TCM Hospital, where they learned about TCM culture through various activities.
They toured the TCM culture museum, exhibition halls, the medicinal decoction room, and the acupuncture and massage rooms. They learned about the development and historical background of TCM, the benefits of different herbal medicines, as well as the pharmaceutical preparation process.
TCM practitioners later demonstrated and explained different methods of cupping therapy to the group. One student, who had never encountered TCM before, got to experience one of these techniques.

The group also had the opportunity to have their pulses evaluated by TCM experts. During the process, they marveled at the accuracy and effectiveness of TCM diagnoses and expressed their fascination with TCM's holistic approach to healthcare.
This activity enhanced the students' understanding of TCM's history and treatment methods. Throughout this year, Linyi county has consistently organized various activities aimed at introducing foreign friends to its intangible cultural heritage, local cuisine, and local customs. This opens up a window to the world and showcases the city's unique cultural charm. (Edited by Xue Xinyi)
