Majestic Tangshuiya Reservoir in Shandong province

The Tangshuiya Reservoir, located in Linqu county in Weifang city – in East China's Shandong province – is a magnificent sight to behold. The reservoir stands on a natural monolithic granite riverbed that rises nearly 20 meters above the surface of the ground.

Spanning 204 meters in length and 39.34 meters in height, the reservoir is a formidable water conservation and engineering achievement that serves multiple purposes, such as flood control, irrigation, power generation and aquaculture.
