The county of Yangxin in Binzhou city – located in East China's Shandong province – held a series of activities on July 21 to promote services for agriculture. A promotional event for an agricultural production trusteeship was launched on the same day.
At the event, a list of pilot organizations that offer innovative agricultural services was released. Yangxin officials also shared their experiences in utilizing services to support agricultural development.
With the cattle industry being its economic pillar, Yangxin has spared no effort to increase its residents' incomes and develop its own strengths through the sector in recent years.
As one of the top 100 animal husbandry counties, it has a herd of over 273,000 head of cattle.

Moreover, it has explored its own strategy to develop its economy. This integrates the primary, secondary and tertiary industries and is driven by the planting and breeding sector.
To better carry out the strategy, Yangxin is conducting a group of 22 projects – involving breeding, processing, leather production and cold supply chain transportation.
Its beef products have been served at many top events, such as the 2008 Beijing Games, the 2010 Shanghai Expo and the G20 Hangzhou Summit in 2016.
The event was supported by the Ministry of Agriculture and local provincial and municipal governmental departments. (Edited by Fan Yuanyuan)
