Heze district boosts premium-quality growth

The Luxi New District in Heze city – located in East China's Shandong province – has rolled out measures to support key projects that are boosting its premium-quality development.

As a result, it has made striking achievements in the fields of biomedicines and high-end equipment manufacturing.

One of the success stories within the district is Buchang Pharmaceuticals, a group specializing in the R&D, production and sale of traditional Chinese medicines.  

The company boasts a highly automated production workshop, which produces around 150 million units of Danhong injections annually.

This significant production volume is largely attributed to the extensive use of intelligent and automated technologies. By achieving complete automation throughout the process, the company has reduced its workforce by 50 percent.

Furthermore, state-of-the-art information technology has been applied, resulting in a new era of green and intelligent manufacturing – ensuring improved drug quality and safety.

In addition, the Luxi New District has seen rapid growth in the high-end equipment manufacturing sector, with companies such as Jingjin Electric, Kangwo Holdings and Jiatai Transportation leading the way.

These enterprises have formed a high-end equipment manufacturing industry cluster, specializing in electromechanical equipment, electronics, special machinery and new energy vehicle components.

Overall, with the influx of successful and large-scale projects, the district has prioritized optimizing its business environment and tailored policies to meet the needs of key enterprises and projects. (Edited by Jin Yongxue)
