In Dong'e county, administered by Liaocheng city, in East China's Shandong province, intelligent technology has been implemented to improve social governance.
The county has installed what it calls 129 "safety sentinels" and over 1,600 integrated strobe lights at key intersections to provide real-time traffic warnings and increase driver vigilance.

Additionally, Dong'e county has established a smart governance information center and integrated various resources, such as video surveillance systems and mobile apps, to enhance coordination and improve social governance.
Dong'e has also incorporated the Xueliang Project into the Smart City initiative, enabling network interconnections and resource sharing among key departments and institutions.
Through these efforts, it's identified and addressed potential safety hazards, leading to a decline in criminal security cases.
Furthermore, a smart urban management command platform has been implemented to address urban management issues promptly.
In the field of water supply, an intelligent scheduling system has been employed to ensure the transparency and quality of drinking water.
Resident company Dong'e Ejiao Co Ltd has also leveraged technologies such as 5G, the IoT, and AI to increase production efficiency, energy utilization and cost reductions. (Edited by Jin Yongxue)
