Yanggu county in Liaocheng city, East China's Shandong province, is making significant strides in promoting green manufacturing and sustainable development.

The county has launched initiatives to establish a green manufacturing system, implement industrial water-saving measures, and promote energy efficiency benchmarks.

In 2022, Yanggu county mobilized resources to clean up construction waste along the Jindi River, the largest wetland in Liaocheng city. It also addressed issues such as the illegal occupation of water areas and improper waste disposal.

As a result, the river is currently a picturesque scene with clear water. It is bustling with seagulls, herons and fish.
