Tai'an city adopts hyper modern modes of planting
Ningyang county, located in Tai'an city in East China's Shandong province, has promoted the interplanting of crops and use of modern equipment to improve its land efficiency.
To seize the day for optimal planting, it recently got technical personnel to guide farmers to carry out standardized sowing and scientific seed selection in its fields.
On June 14, Lyu Aiqin, one of the select agriculture technical staff, guided locals on hyper efficient mechanical operations for planting. "Through the interplanting of soybeans and corns, corn production is increased, and one more season of soybeans can be harvested," Lyu said.

"Owning 2,000 mu (133.33 hectares) of land, I can get additional 300 yuan ($41.51) per mu from soybean production thanks to the interplanting," said local producer Liu Hanliang.
Additionally, planting machines have been adopted to improve cultivation efficiency in Ningyang county. A seeder with six seeding boxes installed at its tail end was adopted by local planter Li Daisheng. This can alternate the sowing of corn and soybeans and double the sowing efficiency.
Air suction corn seeders can now be seen operating in Ciyao town, which can reduce the amount of seeds by 30 percent per mu while bolstering the emergence rate and fast working speed. (Edited by Chen Chuxuan)
