Expats savor drama, food in Liaocheng city

Inspired to go on an adventure and explore beautiful Liaocheng city – in East China's Shandong province – a group of five expats recently joined the food and drama festival there, in the county-level city of Linqing.

To add to the fun of the Peking Opera and the local gastronomic delectables, performances of Quyi – a traditional Chinese spoken and sung art form – were staged at the festival.

The overseas visitors were blown away by the food exhibition, the fashionable dramas, the Peking Opera and the wonderful ballet performances.  (Edited by Chen Chuxuan)
