Close to the Confucian philosopher Mencius' temple and house, the Zoucheng Museum in Zoucheng city – located in East China's Shandong province – is a comprehensive museum showcasing the 6,000-year history of local culture and major archaeological discoveries, as well as local achievements over the past 50 years.
Among the exhibits is a set of 35 chimes, whose design is based on a bronze instrument dating to the Spring and Autumn Period (770-476 BC). The instrument was unearthed in Guozhuang village in the city.
