Shandong zone boosts its growth
The Yanggu Economic Development Zone – located in Yanggu county in Liaocheng city, in East China's Shandong province – made major achievements last year as it strived to help boost the county's high-quality development.
In 2022, the development zone actually utilized foreign investment of $70.53 million, achieved a total import and export volume of 16.9 billion yuan ($2.44 billion), ranked 42nd among 160 development zones in the province in the evaluation of comprehensive development, and ranked first in Liaocheng's development zones for four consecutive years.
"It only took us 15 days from settling in Yanggu Economic Development Zone to start trial production," said Tang Shaozhe, a manager of Shandong Aikete Precision Machinery Co Ltd.

Yanggu Economic Development Zone insists on optimizing the business environment as a key measure to serve the development of enterprises, empowering them to improve efficiency. Through continuously optimizing work processes, it implements whole-process services for projects entering the zone and ensures that project procedures are completed in a "one-stop" manner within the shortest time.
