Shandong county boosts community reading circles
Yanggu county in Liaocheng city – located in East China's Shandong province – has expanded its efforts to provide residents with easy access to a variety of services within a 15-minute stroll from their homes.
The community bookstores in Yanggu, for example, now total 11 – ranking it first in Liaocheng city – an achievement which has won it praise for its convenient and intelligent facilities.

"The bookstore in our community not only boasts a high degree of intelligence, but also provides a warm and comfortable atmosphere," said Chen Ming, who was reading books in the Bu'er Bookstore on Qiaorun Street.
Chen added that he had become a big fan of the bookstore and intended to invite more friends to join in its reading activities.
Liu Ting, who is in charge of the Bu'er Bookstore, said it also offered academic study activities and lectures.
"We also provide an immersive reading space for readers in the community and free lending services," Liu added. (Edited by Jin Yongxue)
