The high-end equipment manufacturing industry is seen as an influential sector cultivated by the Luxi New District and a group of resident manufacturers are working hard to develop their businesses there.

They are forming industry clusters producing electromechanical equipment, electronic appliances, special machinery and new energy vehicle components.
