Daiyue district promotes culture, tourism integration

Daiyue district, located in Tai'an city in East China's Shandong province, is promoting the deep integration of culture and tourism industries.

On March 26, Daiyue district was honored as a provincial advanced county for its culture and tourism industries in 2022.

Relying on the superior environment of Mount Tai, Daiyue district has attracted 21 industrial and commercial enterprises to invest in leisure tourism, agricultural sightseeing, high-end homestays and health care, which are the four leading industries in the district.

Managed by Shandong Culture and Tourism Group Co Ltd, Jiunyu Peak area of Mount Tai has become a model for rural revitalization, and it has integrated 19 villages in Daolang town to develop rural tourism.

Huangjing, a famous medicinal herb found on Mount Tai, is a major part of the local industrial tourism industry. "By interplanting and adopting the cooperation pattern of company, cooperative, village and farmer, we have solved the planting scale problem," said local official Xie Xiaoyan.

In addition, Daiyue district has constructed the Mount Tai Tianyi Lake Resort Area, which consists of over 100 scenic spots, 15 major projects, and supporting service facilities.

Moving forward, Daiyue district plans to develop cultural creativity, boutique tourism, high-end medical care and health care industries, and promote its high-quality development of culture, tourism and health care industries. (Edited by Chen Chuxuan)
