iQIYI (iQIYI.COM), China's leading online television and movie portal, has released individualized recommendation updates which will allow each iQIYI user to receive an individualized video homepage - the longer the users stay on iQIYI, the more recommended content he or she will receive.
"We do not only react to the users orders, we try to predict users’ needs and to meet them," Yang Xianghua, vice CEO of iQIYI, was quoted as saying by the China High-tech Industry Tribune.
iQIYI’s video recommendations are based on user account numbers, number of appliances, search data and interactive comments which help build user models and enable iQIYI to offer the individualized recommendations.
In addition, iQIYI has also updated its design to make it more suitable for mobile clients.
