Baidu has announced the launch of its“Baidu Safeguard” software for the safety of computers recently.

The product has four major functions: accelerating the speed of computers, cleaning the system, checking for Trojan viruses and software management.It also has some special functions such as tips on how to boot up the computer faster.

Baidu launched its first safety product - Baidu antivirus software - on June 18. The company says that it can guarantee that its antivirus software will not steal any personal details or information from its users.
