A symposium on IT security, themed "technological innovation in information leakage prevention (ILP) in the cloud era", was held in Beijing on April 27. As the first professional meeting focusing on ILP, co-hosted by the Zhongguancun Science Park management committee, the event points the way for future development of ILP.

"This symposium is a grand feast for the ILP industry, gathering together experts in this field to explore innovation and cooperation among companies against bigger transformations and challenges in the industry," said Liao Guohua, vice-director of the management committee.

Faced with ever more challenges in the cloud era, companies in the ILP industry are obliged to embrace innovation and reform in future development strategies.

During the event, academician Shen Changxiang, member of the Advisory Committee for State Informatization, and Guo Qiquan, senior engineer at the Network Security Bureau of the Ministry of Public Security, gave speeches on topics like "the development trend of leakage prevention technology in cloud computing" and "classified protection and national security". Other guests also engaged in wide discussions on several other topics concerning IT security in the cloud era.

After the event, guests and other participants visited the 10-year anniversary exhibition of Beijing's Tips Technology Company, the co-host and pioneer of the ILP industry.
