A delegation from the International Council of Management Consulting Institutes (ICMCI), led by its chairman Francesco D'Aprile, visited Zhongguancun Science Park in Beijing recently. The guests were welcomed by Zeng Xiaodong, director of business internationalization at the science park, and other senior executives from the park.

Chairman D'Aprile introduced the advantages of overseas management consultancy groups in mobilizing enterprise resources, providing expertise and predicting market trends. He suggested companies in the park should establish a network platform and further expand their overseas business with the help of those consultancies.

Zeng introduced the overall development of the park and expressed his hope for companies to expand overseas business through international and professional consultancy services.

The two sides also discussed Italian policies, investment environment and opportunities that Chinese companies can enjoy when entering Italy. They also exchanged views on the development of the information and communication technology industry. They agreed to invite the ICMCI experts to host lectures on subjects such as global investment environment and to set up an exchange platform for more cooperation among companies from the two sides.
