The FinChi Innovation Center, a platform for China-Finland cooperation, will begin operations in Beijing's Zhongguancun Software Park after a signing ceremony on April 8.
The center, following the opening of Zhongguancun's Finland liaison office and other cooperative initiatives, will usher in a new chapter for innovative cooperation between the two countries.
"The center will serve as a platform for companies in Zhongguancun to broaden its overseas business," said a senior executive of Zhongguancun's management committee. "It will promote communication and technical cooperation between companies on both sides."
"Cooperation between companies and in terms of technical expertise and human resources are of mutual benefit to both countries," said a senior executive from Finland.
The center is expected to attract more leading high-tech companies in Finland to set up operations in Zhongguancun and serve as a bridge for innovative cooperation between the two sides.
