The administrative committee of Changping Park, a sub-park of Zhongguancun Science Park, recently became a member of the International Association of Science Parks (IASP).

The international authentication helps rank the sub-park among the highest-level science parks in China, meaning that Changping Park is now able to incubate innovative technology businesses.

As an IASP member and a high value-added park, Changping Park can enjoy exclusive State-granted services, such as authority certification, membership networks, knowledge and information sharing, and international demonstration platforms.

With headquarters in Spain, the IASP was founded in 1984 and consists of Asia-Pacific, European, North American and Latin American branches. It is the only international association for scientific parks, enterprise incubators and other innovative organizations worldwide. With over 200 members in 54 countries, the IASP assembles a great number of scientific parks around the world. The organization aims to promote communication and cooperation among parks and innovative technology organizations.

Its Beijing office, located in Zhongguancun's Qinghua Science Park, is the IASP's only satellite organization.
