The week-long 18th RSA Conference 2013, in San Francisco, California, which ran through March 1, had several dozen delegates from information security companies in Beijing's Zhongguancun district taking part, including Topsec Technology and Venus Technology, with help from the Zhongguancun Science Park administration.

The conference, which attracted more than 350 companies, focused on cloud security and virtual reality, data security and privacy, hackers and threats, and mobile security, with discussions on how to use and share information safely. The Zhongguancun Science Park booth saw a lot of visitors from around the world, and the park's companies gained greater insight into the latest information security developments as well as ideas on product design and strategies. The exchanges were also helpful for their overseas business contacts.
