The Intelligence Grouping and Resource Sharing (IGRS) industry alliance recently released seven national technical standards at the 2012 IGRS Summit held in Beijing.

The standards cover fields such as smart home appliances, power line communication interface, next generation Internet, Internet service quality, and interactive media equipment.

Newly released standards are expected to promote the development of the nation's information devices and other Internet related industries.

Over the years, the IGRS alliance has established a complete management system. Drawing from industry pioneers, the alliance has built a standard-setting team involving all stakeholders in the industry. This not only guarantees justice, fairness and impartiality, but also improves efficiency in the decision-making process.

The alliance also set standards by drawing experiences in order to solve problems during the industrialization process.

The IGRS alliance, incubated and based in Zhongguancun Science Park, is dedicated to formulating, popularizing and industrializing IGRS standards.
