A six-person delegation from Russia's Skolkovo Innovation Center visited Zhongguancun Science Park between Oct 21 and 26. The two parties discussed the implementation of a cooperation framework agreement signed in June.

Zhongguancun's administrative committee received the delegation and organized related companies in the park to attend Skolkovo's promotion conference.

The delegation visited four Zhongguancun enterprises: Xinwei Telecom Company, Rechsand Science & Technology Group, LandOcean Energy Services, and Shenwu Environment & Energy Technology. The heads of these companies conducted in-depth exchanges with the delegation regarding Skolkovo's investment environment and preferential policies.

Enterprises in fields of information technology, clean technology, new materials, and communication technology attended the promotion conference. They learned about Skolkovo's overall plan, investment promotion, preferential policies and talent cultivation.

The two sides also held a discussion and reached agreements on co-construction of science and technology business incubators, and a company research and development center.

Zhongguancun's administrative committee also planned to send representatives from companies interested in developing in the Russian market for business possibilities.

The Skolkovo Innovation Center is a planned high technology business area being built in Skolkovo near Moscow, Russia.
