The city of Chaohu in central Anhui province released its list of top ten scenic spots, which includes the Zhongmiao Temple, Laoshan Island, Qi Mountain and Gu Mountain.

The general public and experts voted for the top ten scenic spots for the list released on June 28, relating to categories such historical sites, religious sites, mountains and islands. Other spots included in the list: the Former Residence of Three Generals (Feng Yuxiang, Zhang Zizhong and Li Kenong), Woniu Mountain and Round-the-city River scenic spot, Ziwei Cave, Yinping Mountain, Bantang Hot Spring Resort, Han Dynasty Cave, and the Chaohu Lakeshore.

The vote was organized by the Publicity Department of the Chaohu City Party Committee, the Chaohu Tourism Bureau and Hefei Evening.
