Super Moon of 2013 Falls on Jun 23
Updated: 2013-06-21

Amateur astronomers can observe the 'super moon' at Hefei Science and Technology Museum in Hefei, capital of Anhui province, on June 23.

The annual 'super moon' is not only the closest and largest full moon of the year. It also presents the moon's closest encounter with the earth for all of 2013.

The museum will provide visitors with astronomical telescopes, which can help them watch the full moon in a better way. Meanwhile, a documentary on the moon is slated to be showed. Free admission will be offered to 150 visitors.
