The six member cities of Hefei Economic Circle promoted themselves at he Heifei Economic Circle tourism promotion campaign which was held in Liu;an, Huainan News website reported. Hefei, Huainan, Liu'an, Tongcheng, Dingyuan and Yuexi, all took part at the event on May 13 and 14.

All member cities stressedtheir attraction as unique tourist destinations.. For example, Heifei displayed its features as an "historical cultural city with a great lake, and the hometown of China's hot springs", Liu'an defined itself as the "charming and leisurable Liu'an", Tongcheng, Dingyuan and Yuexi [highlighted their adherence to the concept of eco-cultural tourism,, and Huainan called itself "colorful Huainan". The event was interactive and the member cities reportedly found it very beneficial.
